Located on Fisherman's Beach, Torquay Sailing Club is a volunteer-run community club offering sailing opportunities for all ages and experience levels.

Whether you're interested in racing, social sailing, learning new skills or simply spending time on the water, you'll find a welcoming and active sailing community at TSC.

Our regular sailing season runs from September through to May. While the 2025/26 season has now concluded, some race squad members continue to enjoy winter training as we prepare for the start of the 2026/27 season in September.

Boat Storage

Boat storage is a benefit of active club membership and is prioritised to support participation in club racing, training and sailing activities. Due to limited space and lease restrictions, storage allocations are managed by the committee. 

Under the Club's lease arrangements with the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA), all boats must be removed from the club grounds by 31 May each year.

A limited number of winter storage allocations may be made available by the Committee to support active race squad members training for major regattas, State Championships and National Championships. These allocations are limited and prioritised based on active participation in club sailing and racing activities.

All winter storage allocations for 2026 have now been allocated.

Membership

Membership applications are currently closed for the winter period and will reopen prior to the commencement of the 2026/27 sailing season in September.

Please note that Torquay Sailing Club does not hire or charter boats.
